Day 1: Exploration of the Historic Center

  • Morning: Arrival in Rome and transfer to the hotel. Visit to the Colosseum, a symbol of the greatness of ancient Rome. Guided tour inside the Colosseum to explore its history and architecture.

  • Afternoon: Tour of the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill, places that hosted ancient Roman political, social, and religious life. Discussion about daily life in ancient Rome.

  • Evening: Dinner at a traditional Roman restaurant to savor the local cuisine.

 

Day 2: Vatican Museums and Vatican City

  • Morning: Visit to the Vatican Museums, with a focus on Greco-Roman and Renaissance artworks. Visit to the Sistine Chapel.

  • Afternoon: Exploration of St. Peter's Basilica and St. Peter's Square. Discussion about the history of the Papacy and its religious significance.

  • Evening: Dinner and evening stroll.

 

Day 3: Ancient Rome and Pantheon

  • Morning: Visit to the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Campo dei Fiori, and Quirinal.

  • Afternoon: Exploration of the Capitoline Hill, designed by Michelangelo, with a panoramic view of part of the city. Visit to the Capitoline Museums.

  • Evening: Dinner at a typical Roman restaurant in the Trastevere district, known for its bohemian charm, and a stroll around the neighborhood.

Day 4: Practical Application of Knowledge

  • Morning: Participation in an interactive archaeological workshop or a simulation of an archaeological dig to understand the work of archaeologists and the importance of discoveries.

  • Afternoon: Visit the iconic Trevi Fountain, a famous landmark in Rome, before concluding the day at the Spanish Steps. Free time to explore the historic center or go shopping.
