Day 2

Milan

The beginning of this itinerary involves arriving in Milan, a city rich in history and culture. After checking into the hotel, the visit focuses on the majestic Milan Cathedral, a masterpiece of Gothic architecture. Students will have the opportunity to explore the interior of the cathedral and, if they wish, ascend to the terrace to admire the panoramic view of the city.

Next, the program includes a visit to Sforza Castle, an imposing fortress that houses various museums and art collections. After this cultural experience, a stroll in Sempione Park, a beautiful green oasis nearby, completes the day.

For the evening, we recommend dinner at a typical Milanese trattoria to savor the local cuisine.

Como

The second day takes us to Como, a charming town on the shores of Lake Como. After a short train journey, the day begins with a visit to the majestic Como Cathedral, located in the heart of the city. Subsequently, students will have the opportunity to take a relaxing walk along the lakefront, enjoying the surrounding natural landscape.

In the afternoon, lunch is at a restaurant with a view of the lake, followed by a visit to the Gardens of Villa Olmo, a neoclassical villa surrounded by beautiful gardens. Students will also have some free time to explore the historic center of Como and do some shopping.

For the evening, we recommend dinner at a typical restaurant, further immersing themselves in the local atmosphere.

Bernina Express Train

The last day of this itinerary offers a unique experience aboard the Bernina Express train. After departing by train to Tirano, a panoramic journey through breathtaking landscapes begins. During the trip, students will have the opportunity to admire Alpine valleys, glaciers, and panoramic bridges.

Lunch will be enjoyed during the journey, and once arriving in St. Moritz, students will have free time to explore the renowned tourist destination. In the afternoon, dinner is recommended in St. Moritz before returning to Milan by train, thus concluding this fascinating historical, cultural, and naturalistic journey through destinations of remarkable beauty and interest.
